p>My son turned 9 on the day I posted this! NINE!! !

/p>

p>A Minecraft Party was requested. The easiest way to create one of those is to find ideas from other people! So I created this board. Sunny By Design had many great things. Here's a tribute to Minecraft Party..

/p>

p>Creeper juice. The little Chubby drinks. You can tear off the paper and put on your faces.

/p>

p>Torches= twisted pretzel sticks. I could have dipped the ends in red melted chocolate, but time got away from me. The slime balls were supposed to be green jello, but that was left home in my fridge. The zombie boogies were wasabi beans!

/p>

p>Sorry for the blurry image. I began making tiny TNT bundles but decided to not, and placed them in glass instead. My favorite part of the party was when I said "There are still many fruits and vegetables left!" I'm going to put them in your bags of loot if you don't eat the vegetables and fruits now. There was a huge woosh to the table and things were being eaten. :

/p>

p>The cake was actually a brownie. I wanted to leave the edges un-iced and I figured that the brownie would be less crumby. The icing was made of Fluffy Boiled Frosting. It wasn't too sweet. We created way too much for this cake So I made meringue puffs, and put them in the oven. They were also taken to home.

/p>

p>Here's a new thing I learned: to make meringue, you beat your egg whites, then heat the oven to 350, put them in, switch the oven off and let them sit until the oven cools down. Easy peasy.

p>Signs and grass leaves were taken from Sizzix dies. The old ones, the big honkin', thick ones. It is possible to do this in the cuttlebug using a B plate on the bottom and the top of the die. The A plate is not recommended at all. To let loose some party energy, we rented the local arena. https://bankadda.com/ </p>

p>We go to the general skating every week. This boy has made a huge leap over the past few weeks. He even looks like a skater now!

/p>

p>Dad and his boy.

/p>

p>Everyone can sing ...... Happy Birthday!

/p>

p>Loot bag time!

/p>

p>And the loot inside. I don't like loot bags with a lot of small items. So I gave handmade creeper cookies that took 2 days and a trip to the local bakery to put ice (Thanks Flying Fox) as well as a CD of Minecraft Parodies. I found the title on YouTube? and gave it to my husband to create his own magic. Then I gave him a few other snacks.

/p>

p>The party is over! (paper characters)

/p>

p>It was a blast!

/p>

p>Edited May 8: WOW y'all are probably on a frenzy for minecraft party ideas. What we would not do for our children. This post has had nearly 10,000 hits so far. That's quite a number in my world. People have been pining my creepy juice bottles in a flurry. Awesome. But take a look at my sidebar. There are only 13 followers. This makes me feel a bit lonely. Are you interested in joining the party on my blog? Follow me or bookmark my blog to get a glimpse of what I've been up too. I have made ninjapeggies! You can use them at the next event.
