p>The story of Minecraft is like a fantastic film script. Notch is the main genius programmer who, starting as an indie, transformed the game industry completely doing what he was passionate about. Also, he made a lot of money throughout the process. He even made more money after he was fed up and decided to sell Minecraft. Perhaps a film is not necessary. It is well documented. The majority of people know the story. A lot of the story was told online. So we have the blogs, websites, forum posts, tweets, and YouTube? videos. What we don't have is a great graphic timeline depicting the history (until now).I heard about Minecraft somewhere in 2010. And I started watching closely Minecraft and its creator. Because it was a wonderful story. One guy and his computer changing the world. My favorite kind of story! And I clearly remember being amazed on August the 20th 2011, when Notch participated in a game coding contest and livecast the whole thing, which he did frequently. (Mind you, the link is a condensed version of the entire event, which ran for 48 hours). The man was amazing! The amazing process of creating games were revealed before your eyes. It was too quick to capture all the details, but it gave you a good idea of what it takes to create an online game. He and his computer using Java IDE Eclipse Eclipse and Paint.net. These are the same tools that he used to create Minecraft. I later learned, through this contest, that there are many other skilled programmers who are just like him. It's not easy for everyone to make it big. But then again, like Notch the majority of them are not in it to make it happen (for the same reason (for whatever reason). https://dailyuploads.net/axmqlwv4u2ha </p>

p>Minecraft is a story that is unique, so I created one.

/p>

p>These are some of the most important things about this timeline.

/p>

p>- Notch began working on Minecraft just a few weeks prior to starting a new job (at jAlbum: the software this site also uses!) - Notch spent the next year working on Minecraft before deciding to quit his job. It was estimated that about 20.000 copies had been sold by this point. The game was in its initial stage. It looked promising to say the least. The second quarter of 2010 and the first half of 2011 must have been a nightmare. They founded Mojang, a company around Minecraft, hired many people, released a lot of improvements to Minecraft, released a second (completely different) game, negotiated with Valve and organized MineCon?. In the midst of all that they sold millions of Minecraft copies! - A lot of important Minecraft things seem to be happening on June 1 a few years in consecutive years (this also coincides with the birthday of Notch).

/p>

p>The Minecraft story isn't finished yet. Minecraft is obviously alive and breaking records. But where Notch and Minecraft once were part of the same story, they have now moved into separate timelines.

/p>

p>Whatever happens, the story of Minecraft will always be an inspiring tale and the impact it has had on the entertainment and gaming industry will be echoed for many years. It's even more unique that thanks to the power of Youtube we have this video from 2009.
