p>Tubecon is a community-driven international YouTube? event that gathers YouTube? creators and their followers in arena-sized public events. The first Tubecon took place in August 2014 in Hartwall Arena, Helsinki with more than 5,000 people attending. [1] Since then Tubecon has been organized 25 times across four different countries (Finland, Sweden, Spain and Switzerland) with altogether over 120,000 people attending all events. [2]

p>In recent years, Tubecon has grown significantly, as the YouTube? and online influencer scene has also expanded. The biggest event of Tubecon attracted more than 18,000 people and included more than 200 YouTubers? or online influencers.

p>Tubecon event program is created in collaboration with local online influencers and it comprises a variety of elements such as Meet & Greets, Tubecon Video Awards panels and concerts. In 2018, Tubecon is taking place in Finland, Sweden, Germany and Switzerland and letters of intent have been signed in Romania, Latvia and Austria. [3]

p>Tubecon 2015 was held at Hartwall Arena, August 2015[5and attracted over 10,000 people.

p>The Finnish Tubecon was held between 12-13 August 2016. The second day was completely sold out. The event drew 18,500 attendees. [6]

p>Sweden[edit]

p>Tubecon in Sweden had its beginning on January 6, 2016 in Stockholm with more than 4500 visitors. They also conducted an autumn tour which began on 9 September in Vasteras, and ended on the 10th December in Kungsbacka. About 50 YouTube? creators visited 8 cities. [7] In 2016, more than 15,000 people visited Tubecon Sweden events.

p>The Tubecon was held in Germany at the Turbinenhalle Oberhausen on February 20 the 20th of February, 2016. Tickets for VIP and Aftershow tickets were also available.

p>The Finnish event was held at Hartwall Arena between 12-13 August and attracted around 17,500 people. [8]

p>The first ever Tubecon Spain event took place at Madrid's wiZink Centre on 18 February. The event was attended by more than 4,000 people and more than 200 Spanish creators. [9]

p>Tubecon Switzerland was first organized in Zurich's Hallenstation on the 29th of December. The event was attended by around 2,500 people. [11]

p>The Finnish Tubecon was held in Messukeskus Helsinki between 17-18 August for the first time. The theme of the event was "My Story". Around 200 Finnish YouTubers? participated in the event. Tubecon hosted international creators from the USA, Great Britain, Germany, Thailand, and Germany in the first ever Tubecon World Meet. Bars and Melody, Jon Cozart, Softpomz, and MrTrashPack? were among the international creators. A new TubeCity? concept was unveiled at the event. This allowed various genres, such as gaming, beauty, fashion, and food, to have their own blocks within the city-like event space. A new initiative was also introduced. Tubecon also launched Tube Academy, an educational track for creators and anyone wanting to know more about the process of making videos and the business. [12]
