p>According to the Hindustan Times newspaper, a police officer stated that Brar had phoned one of the shooters before the incident and directed him to ensure the death of Moose Wala.

p>Moose Wala rose to fame with catchy songs that attacked rival rappers and politicians and portraying himself as a man who fought for the community's pride and justice, and then gunned down enemies.
