p>LOS ANGELES (Variety.com) - Technoblade one of the top YouTube? creator who specialized in Minecraft let's-play videos, has died a year after he revealed an illness that was cancerous, according to a statement from his family. He was 23 years old.

p>In an emotional YouTube? video shared on Technoblade's channel the YouTuber?'s dad announced that his son was dead. His father said, "He was the most incredible kid anyone could ever wish for." "I miss Technoblade."

p>The video, which was uploaded on Thursday, titled "so long nerds," included a posthumous message from Technoblade's creator to his fans that was read by his father. "Hello everyone, Technoblade here. If you're reading this I'm dead," Technoblade's message said informing his real name as Alex. "Thank you to everyone who have supported my content throughout the years. If I had another hundred years I'm sure I'd choose to be Technoblade over and over again since those were the most enjoyable years of my life."

p>On Technoblade's online store there is a message that reads "In the memory of his father, a portion of the proceeds from all online orders will be donated to an amazing organization called curesarcoma.org," linking to the Sarcoma Foundation of America.

p>Technoblade who's online avatar was an crowned king pig currently has 10.8 million viewers on his YouTube? channel. "I play too many video games. I might not be the greatest but I do have hot elbows," his YouTube? bio reads.

p>The video was posted on Thursday with the following statement: "We, the Technoblade family, wanted you to know how much he cared and valued his fans. Since the beginning of Technoblade's online presence, he was constantly figuring out ways to delight and reward his followers. He was able to maintain his charming humility despite his success, and compete with a charming balance between his confidence level and his self-deprecating humor. We ask that you honor his wishes to keep his identity private and to prevent him from becoming famous.

p>The statement continued, "This year has been difficult for our son as we've fought cancer in stage four." He didn't complain and continued to utilize his brain to beat what he believed was almost impossible odds. My son's bravery on this path was a shining example to all of us who had the privilege to walk it with him. We are grateful that you shared his journey with us, as he completed the work he was passionate about for his beloved fans.

p>According to his father, Technoblade composed his final message to fans about eight hours before his death. The father of Technoblade said that while Technoblade didn't get everything he wantedto say, Technoblade did score the major points.

p>Technoblade disclosed his cancer diagnosis in August 2021. He said he started feeling pain in his right arm during the previous month, initially thinking it was a recurrent stress injury caused by gaming.
