p>Organisers of a conference for Minecraft, a computer game Minecraft declared they were "truly truly sorry" after angry parents had criticized it on social media.

p>However, dozens of people claimed they sat for hours waiting to meet famous players and demanded refunds.

p>O'Brien Event Management stated that a new system would be developed to reduce waiting times in the near future.

p>The convention, which was not approved by Mojang, Minecraft-developer, offered fans the opportunity to meet YouTube? stars take pictures, and play games.

p>Lisa O'Brien of O'Brien Event Management previously stated to the BBC that the lines were 45 minutes long because of the massive number of people who showed up on the day and didn't purchase tickets in advance.

p>A second statement that was posted on the website of the company reads: "We are truly genuinely sorry to hear our event didn't meet the expectations of a few guests.
/p>
p>"MineVention? is primarily a 'meet and greet' type event, therefore, it is a queue but on the bright aspect, it gives children the chance to meet their heroes.
/p>
p>"We have taken all of your comments about the event on board and, moving forward we will put in a new system for queuing and will be adding more content." https://webarchive.one/ </p>
p>The company also released a statement from Peterborough Arena, which was responsible for catering, that also blamed the "sheer number" of people who walked through the doors during the day for the long lines.

p>Both parties agreed they would follow up with any parents who came to them with a complaint.

p>Refunds haven't been discussed, however some parents have claimed that they were offered them the next day after complaining to staff.
/p>
p>Online ticketing company YPlan stated that it was "actively seeking information from the event's organizer to learn about their stance on refunds and will seek to compensate all our customers who were unhappy with the event".
