p>The boss of Minecraft-maker Mojang has reassured fans worried about what will happen when Microsoft assumes control.

p>A $2.5bn (PS1.5bn) deal that will result in Microsoft acquire Mojang was announced in mid-September.

p>Vu Bui, the chief operating office of Mojang, stated that there is no intention to change the game or change the way players can play with it.

p>He added that feedback from players is still crucial to help develop the game.

p>"Nothing's going to change," stated Mr Bui. "We don't have any plans to change our ways and obviously, I'm not able to talk much about the deal and I don’t know everything, but we're in the same place, and the game's in place and everything is the same as it was before."

p>Mojang has always aimed to preserve the initial motivation that helped to make the game so popular, he stated.

p>He stated, "Maintaining the original culture isn't easy." It's a way of life that values the community and lets them play however they want to in the game.

p>"It is absolutely the intention to continue, as it always been, to continue with this," he said to the BBC during a BBC interview at London's Olympia exhibition center in which he was delivering an address as the keynote speaker at the Brand Licensing Europe trade fair.

p>Mr Bui acknowledged that the deal was "still in the making" but said Mojang's intention was to continue to work closely with its huge community of players.

p>Markus Persson (aka Notch) is the Minecraft creator. He wrote about his reasons for approaching Microsoft. He wrote that it was too difficult for him to handle and that it was becoming an unnecessary burden.

p>He wrote, "I can't take responsibility for something like this," shortly after details of the deal were revealed.

p>Bui said there would be some changes in the near future. However, these would still be made with the input, comments and feedback from fans.
