Don't get me incorrect; The Las Vegas Strip is great. I adore it there. But sometimes, the strip can be a little a lot, and frankly, I would rather swallow a capsule of cyanide than go anywhere near it. And I know every nearby feels that way because they've all stated it to me. And after a couple of rough days, some vacationers need a break from The Strip as well. Thankfully, this wonderful town has much much more to provide than just what can be discovered on that 4 u2 ticket denver -mile stretch of Las Vegas Boulevard. Goldsmiths college students have a pretty good selection of places to go down in New Cross. London's most stylish students hit the Amersham Arms for gigs and club nights. Verify out SKIPtheatre, it's a night of Live Music and theatrical performances from girls who love to skip, seems fairly weird but it's extremely cool. There are great gigs at the New Cross Inn and the Goldsmiths Student Union host some fantastic evenings too with very inexpensive drinks on offer.
